Supported Apps for AIR2DMX® and USB2DMX®
These apps and programs work together with the JMS AIR2DMX® and USB2DMX® interfaces. Depending on your operating system and use case, they control DMX lighting via Wi-Fi (Art-Net) or via USB cable — from automatic light shows to manual remote control during setup.
SoundSwitch (Windows / macOS)
SoundSwitch is the light show software from Chauvet DJ. It detects the beat of the music that is playing and automatically controls the color, intensity and movement of connected DMX fixtures in time with it — from simple base settings to fully programmed shows. The connection runs wirelessly via Art-Net through the AIR2DMX® Wi-Fi interface, or alternatively via USB through the USB2DMX® interface.
STL-DMX (Windows)
STL-DMX is a classic DMX-512 control software for Windows: put together your own light scenes and sequences and play them back in time with the music. Like other Windows DMX programs, it connects through the USB2DMX® or the AIR2DMX® interface.
ArtnetControl (iPhone / iPad)
ArtnetControl is a diagnostics and control app for iPhone and iPad: it finds Art-Net-capable devices on the Wi-Fi network, shows their addresses and universes, and makes the transmitted DMX channels visible live. This makes it quick to set up the AIR2DMX® Wi-Fi interface during rigging and to check it directly on the network when troubleshooting.
ArtNetDmxRemote (iPhone / iPad)
ArtNetDmxRemote is an Art-Net remote control for iPhone and iPad. It connects directly to the AIR2DMX® Wi-Fi interface and controls individual DMX channels or saved scenes by hand — handy for aligning and testing individual fixtures, even without lighting control software on a laptop.
OnSong (iPad / iPhone)
OnSong is the popular stage app for musicians: song lyrics, chords and set lists at your fingertips on stage. A DMX extension also connects the AIR2DMX® Wi-Fi interface, so light scenes can be triggered in sync with the song.
